When Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the realm of God.”
Matthew 10:14
Will you miss me when I’m gone?
Did you even know that I was here?
I don’t have flashy feathers or a bright orange beak.
I run along the shore as fast as I can.
I rarely have time to bask in the sun.
There are a hundred thousand more like me.
Unseen
Unknown
Unsung
All part of God’s creation.
Will you miss me when I’m gone?
Will you even know?
Abba, Eima (Father, Mother) may our eyes and hearts always be open to your children. Amen
