A Thought for Reflection
“Bread – like real love – took time, cultivation, strong loving hands and patience.
It lived, rising and growing to fruition only under the most perfect circumstances.”― Melissa Hill, Something From Tiffany’s

Prayer of Confession
Jesus prayed that we might be one—in Spirit, in mission, in communion with each other and with you. Today, O God, we confess fumblings and failures in accomplishing unity. On this World Communion Sunday, give us eyes to recognize your reflection in the eyes of people everywhere. Give us a mind to accept and celebrate our differences. Give us a heart big enough to love your children everywhere. We thank you for setting a table with space enough for us all! Amen.
Assurance of God’s Forgiveness

Spirit, spirit of gentleness, blow through the wilderness, calling and free,
Spirit, spirit of restlessness, stir me from placidness, wind, wind on the sea.
