Are you a gift-bag re-user and saver? Ever used newspaper to wrap gifts? Grocery bags cut-up and decorated with stamps? Leftover cloth from a sewing project? There are so many ways to wrap gifts that don’t leave your family with a pile of trash on Christmas morning.
Come visit the Transition Framingham “alternative wrapping” table at the Gifts that Give Holiday Fair on December 8 here at Edwards Church and get your purchases wrapped, or just share ideas for how to wrap presents without making trash. Or if you enjoy wrapping gifts with no waste, sign up to help staff the table and share your skills. Transition Framingham will supply wrapping materials or you can bring your own favorite reused or recycled materials. Contact Mary Memmott (memmottm@gmail.com) if you’d like to volunteer with us at the fair.
