Ordinary Time in extra-ordinary times
Sunday, June 21, 5:00pm Spiritual Soup Supper; 5:30pm worship via Zoom
Ordinary Time on our liturgical calendar marks the weeks after Pentecost in the spring and the beginning of Advent. It’s time when we remember not the major events in Jesus’ life, but his words and actions and how they relate to our ordinary lives. Now as we socially distance, the seasons and other familiar rituals of our faith are being offered in new and creative ways. These experiences evoke a range of emotions and are powerful expressions of our connectedness. In the midst of this new reality is a “divine” opportunity to deepen our spiritual lives and understanding of faith and practice.
Join Seeds of Grace worship on the third Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. for a “spiritual soup supper” time for reconnecting, chatting and checking in with one another. Then, at 5:30 p.m. we’ll move into worship with time for music, readings, food for thought, conversation and prayer.
