A time for acknowledging grief and loss in the midst of a difficult Christmas season
Sunday, December 20th, Gather at 6:00pm, service at 6:15pm (postponed till 12/21)
The Winter Solstice just before Christmas is the longest night of the year. From there, each day offers more light. Join us for a Longest Night Service of scripture, music, quiet reflection, and candle light to embrace the darkness and to help heal the wounds of loss. Come gather in person, socially distanced ‘round the fire in front of Jonathan House at Edwards Church to find comfort in the care of community. Dress warmly, prayer shawls and hand warmers will be available. Inclement weather date: Monday, December 21, gather at 5:15 p.m., service at 5:30. A recording of the service will also be available.
