Taking Fallow Time
Seeds of Grace gathers for outdoor worship up on Edwards campus in front of Jonathan House on October 17. In medieval times, farmers planted their fields in rotation, leaving one field unplanted for a time in order to allow the soil to rest and restore. In a world in which busyness and distraction are the normal, we’ll reflect on what it means to take “fallow time.” Join us for a meal at 5:00 p.m. (bring your own brown bag supper!) followed by worship at 5:30 p.m. Should there be inclement weather, we will move to Susan Dickerman Hall and all services can be live streamed on Zoom. Please feel free to invite others to join us. We look forward to being together. In the meantime, may you be safe and well and surrounded by God’s love.
