The Spirit of Courage
This month, Christian Explorers will be back on the pray ground on the lawn of the Rousseau-Tanners’ house during worship each Sunday. We’ll be hearing stories of courage and thinking about what it means to do brave things that Jesus asks us to do. Here are some activities for Christian Explorers this month…
- How does your garden grow? It’s time to plant our garden again! Thanks to Lori Wilson-Chapin and Rick Seaholm for getting it ready for us this year. Each time we’re together, we’ll water our herb garden, pull out weeds, and watch it grow!
- Outdoors again! We return to outdoor worship and have lots to explore. This month after worship in front of Jonathan House, we’ll have some adventures learning what the Bible says about nature. Maybe we’ll take a “micro-hike” or hug a tree…you’ll have to come and see!
- Filling our big penny jar. Our indoor penny jar is too heavy to move, so we’ll have to start counting the coins. During the summer, we’ll fill our summer penny jar, as we continue to work together towards making a donation and help other people.
- On the pray ground. Come to worship on the pray ground where there’s always a craft and a snack. Christian Explorers help during the service by lighting the candle on the altarscape and collecting the offering each Sunday. After the service, you can climb up into the tree house!
