Workshop: Align Your Money to Your Anti-Racist Principles – Edwards Hall
Thursday, August 3, 6:00 p.m. — Potluck, 6:30 p.m. — Workshop
Together we can make a difference in the racial wealth gap! No matter how much money you have, you can shift power through intentional spending habits, charitable giving, and investments/saving.
In this workshop, we’ll overview the racist and exploitative practices that helped grow most of the wealth in this country. Then we’ll discuss how those of us who are inheritors of this wealth can work to heal, repair, and rebuild community. Learn about who is leading this work and what concrete steps you can take to align your money with your anti-racist principles. Led by Sarah DeLuca, a Money and Philanthropy Coach with Move Money Shift Power, where she focuses on social change philanthropy with individuals, families, and foundations.
Registration required on this form, sliding scale donations welcome. For more information, contact Rev. Debbie Clark (pastor@edwardschurch.org) or Heather Gonzalez (hgcolibri@gmail.com).
