Don’t miss our annual Blessing of the Animals service! On Sunday, September 10, bring your pet to a special outdoor worship. We’ll celebrate and bless our animal friends in a fun and sometimes a bit chaotic service.
Basil, rosemary, oregano, chives, thyme, peppers, parsley and more…please feel free to help yourself to fresh herbs in the Christian Explorers ‘herb boxes in front of Jonathan House!!! Our boxes are overflowing, and we’ve been able to donate fresh herbs to A Place to Turn food pantry this summer.
This month Christian Explorers begin a series exploring the stories of faith in the midst of upheaval from the Hebrew Bible book of Exodus. Join us to hear about God’s miracles in liberating the Israelites from Egypt, crossing the Red Sea, and providing for them in the wilderness. Remember, refresh, revive…what can we learn about how God’s people stay resilient in times of change?
On Sunday mornings our youngest members join in worship to bring in and out the light and collect the offering. They also spend special time together outside under the tent, in the sanctuary Tent of Meeting, or in Susan P. Dickerman Hall learning Bible stories, working on songs and crafts, and having fun with friends.
