Sunday, September 17 — Seeds of Grace Worship: “I see you”
5:00 p.m. Gathering
5:30 p.m. Worship in person
“I see you,” is a greeting from the mythical world of Pandora in the recent James Cameron sci-fi movie Avatar: The Way of Water. The powerful phrase means, “I understand who you are and that we are all connected to each other.” Inspired by the movie, this month Seeds of Grace worship explores what it means to truly see one another, putting preconceived notions aside. Come to reflect on this thought and to imagine together what a difference it might make.
Each Seeds of Grace service is focused on a timely theme, inviting participants into conversation in a comfortable setting. Come for informal reflection, discussion and contemplation inspired by music of all kinds, scripture, readings and personal sharing. In the midst of a chaotic world, a glimmer of joy and light can be found in our circle as we gather over light refreshments with fellow travelers at Edwards Church.
Seeds of Grace worship is offered in person on the third Sunday of each month. Weather permitting, we meet under the tent in front of Jonathan House (in Susan Dickerman Hall if it’s cold or raining). Please feel free to invite others to join us; we hope to see you there!
