The weather is fine (or not)! The conversation is inspiring (for sure)! The group is caring (absolutely)! Join us at noon every Monday (unless it rains) under the tent.
Monday Afternoon Book Group
Monday at 4:00 p.m. on Zoom
We are currently reading The Heaven and Earth Grocery Story by James McBride and will finish on the February 12.
On February 18, we start They Call Her Dirty Sally by Amy Matayo. Goodreads review describes it as “A sad, twisted, story of lies and deceit in small town Arkansas. You will feel for Dirty Sally and can’t help but hope and pray that somewhere along the line, she will have her happy ending.” Read more about it at Amazon: They Call Her Dirty Sally
The group reads about 100 pages a week, then meets for an hour or so on Zoom with questions to spark our discussion. New members are most welcome ~ join us for interesting reading, spirited conversation and lots of laughter! Contact Karen Nell at choresis@comcast.net for the Zoom invitation, reading assignment and discussion questions.
