Would you like to eat more plants? For your health? For the planet? For your fellow earthlings? Join our 30-day spring challenge. From March 10 – April 7, we will up the number of plants in our diet, while minimizing animal foods. The challenge will be facilitated by Laura Beck, Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator.
Kickoff – Sunday, March 10, 3:00-5:00 p.m. (in person at Open Spirit) – There will be a screening of the documentary, “A Prayer for Compassion” followed by an introduction to the challenge.
Support meetings – Tuesday evenings (March 12, 19, 26, April 2 from 7:00 – 7:40 p.m. on Zoom). Come one week or every week to have your questions answered, suggestions, and sharing of challenges & successes.
Closing potluck on Sunday, April 7 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in person at Open Spirit to share food and our experience with the challenge.
Buddhist Meditation: A Powerful Tool for Transformation
March 12, 7:00-8:00 p.m., Edwards Hall
Join Bhante Pannasiri and Jenn Linde from New England Buddhist Vihara as they lead us in meditation and offer teachings and a conversation about transformation. Stay for tea and fellowship afterwards. No registration required. Donations to support Open Spirit are always appreciated but not required to attend.
