Seeds of Grace Worship: Finding Peace
Sunday, September 15, 2024
5:00 p.m. Gathering, 5:30 p.m. Worship
This month Seeds of Grace worship concludes its series, “Finding Peace,” focused on peace, not as a desired goal, but as an active verb. Each month, we’ve invited fellow members from the Edwards’ faith community who are passionately taking action for justice in peace to engage with us in conversation about their own spiritual journeys, sources of inspiration and wisdom for the work ahead. On Karen Nell’s last Sunday with us, she’ll share with us lessons from her work in conflict transformation and interfaith dialogue. We hope you’ll come for informal reflection, discussion and contemplation inspired by these voices, music of all kinds, ancient and contemporary readings, personal sharing or just listening.
Each Seeds of Grace service is focused on a timely theme, inviting participants into conversation in a comfortable setting. Seeds of Grace worship is offered in person on the third Sunday of each month. We gather in Susan Dickerman Hall, or outdoors in warmer weather. In the midst of a chaotic world, a glimmer of joy and light can be found in our circle as we gather over light refreshments with fellow travelers at Edwards Church.
