Our Special Offering for September will be providing items and gift cards for the asylum seekers who are staying at the Residence Inn in Framingham. We will collect items from the list below throughout the month. There will be a basket in the Narthex where you can put your items. Or you can make a donation to Edwards Church designated for Refugee Gift Cards, and the church will purchase these cards.
Clothing/Shoes
- Socks
- Newborn baby clothing
- Shoes (new and like new, all sizes, esp. sneakers)
Bedding and Towels
- Twin sheet sets
- Towels
- Blankets (full and baby sizes)
Kitchen needs
- Pots and pans (medium or large, new)
- Kitchen utensils
Personal/family care needs
- Deodorant, soap, shampoo, etc.
- Female personal care products
- Hair care products (esp. for black/curly hair)
- Diapers/wipes (esp. sizes 3-6 and pull-ups)
- Laundry detergent
Food/Gift cards
- Walmart, Dunkin Donuts, gas cards are always welcome
- Non-perishable food items (ramen noodles, pasta, spices, rice, etc.)
