Faith Formation for April
As we prepare for Easter, we continue our Lenten focus on “Deep and Wide: Becoming Beloved Community.” We’ll join our friends for a Palm Sunday parade, search for Easter egg blessings, and reflect on doubt and faith.
Sunday, April 6 – Intergenerational Worship with Communion
Our young people will participate in bringing in the light, an interactive message, a craft in the pray ground, receiving the offering, and Holy Communion, as we tell the story of Peter’s wild picnic on the roof.
Sunday, April 13 – Palm Sunday in Sue Dickerman Hall with Ms. Myrna
Our young people will begin in worship as we prepare to tell the Palm Sunday story. They will move into Sue Dickerman Hall to get ready, and return to the sanctuary for a short drama and our Palm Sunday parade.
Sunday, April 20 – Easter Intergenerational Worship
Our young people will remain in worship for the service, with an Easter egg blessing hunt, a special craft in the pray ground, and inspiring music.
Sunday, April 27 – In Sue Dickerman Hall with Pastor Debbie
Our young people will begin in worship, then move into Sue Dickerman Hall for a lesson led by Debbie Clark, focusing on faith and doubt.
Second Adult Sign-Up
In order to support our young people and teachers and to ensure a safe church for everyone, we are asking adults in the church to sign up to be a “Second Adult” each Sunday. You don’t have to prepare a thing; just come enjoy our amazing young people. You can sign up here: Second Adult Signup
